Cub Scout camping trip October 18th & 19th at the Goodwins Mills Rod & Gun Club
Ben caught his first fish ever at his first camping trip ever!
This was Ben's first camping trip as a Tiger Cub. He had an awesome time and made a bunch of new friends. He is on the high wire in this photo but he also got to run through an obstacle course, play a tennis ball shooting gallery, go on a scavenger hunt, sing a bunch of songs, learn to tie knots, watch some great skits and go fishing for the first time. There were 15 Cub Scouts/Webelos that went to camp. Everyone had a great time. We were blessed with great chefs especially for Sunday breakfast with bacon, sausage, ham, eggs, pancakes, french toast, donuts, munchkins, etc. etc. There was enough food to feed an army and nobody left hungry. Ben is looking forward to coming back to the lodge in the winter to tackle the huge hill with his sled to see how far he can slide across the frozen lake at the bottom.
